Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team in the Mumbai Region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Oracle databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases, as well as optimizing database performance and implementing best practices for database management. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database server software and related products. - Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. - Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity. - Manage database security, including user access and permissions. - Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions in a timely manner. - Collaborate with development teams to support application development and deployment. - Document database configurations, procedures, and policies. - Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices. Required Skills: - Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator. - Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration. - Familiarity with EBS (E Business Suite) and its integration with Oracle databases. - Experience in database optimization techniques. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
