Description
One of our clients is looking for an Oracle DBA to strengthen their team in the following ways:
- Daily monitoring of our Production Oracle databases
- Administration (Creation/Management/Backup-Restore/Patching) of Oracle Databases Performance Tuning, problems detection and solving
- Development teams support: Deployments/Data Refresh/Authorization Management
This is a long-term mission and the work is to be performed at the client's premises in Brussels, Belgium.
A very good knowledge of the following is needed to be able to efficiently work within the team:
- Oracle Hardening implementation based on an existing CIS (Center For Internet Security) recommendations report
- Automate via scripting our Oracle Patching process in an OVM context: by VM, 1* Oracle CRS patching, 1 * Oracle RDBMS Binaries patching, n * Oracle Databases patching, taking part in an Oracle Client Patching process
Additionally, a solid overall knowledge of the following tools is required:
- OVM (Oracle Virtual Machine)
- Oracle Linux (or RHEL)
- Storage Management (Oracle ASM)
- Backup, disaster and recovery (Oracle RMAN, Oracle Dataguard)
- Testing (Oracle RAT)
- Import & Export (Oracle Datapump)
- Tool Management (Oracle OEM)
- Scripting (Bash, Python)
- Patching
