Responsibilities

  • Provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
  • Analyze business requirements for the delegated Investment Management
  • Design, plan, and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages
  • Providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications
  • Conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design, and other phases of SDLC
  • See that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production
  • Understanding of software design patterns and best practices for high‑availability systems

SKILLS

Must have

  • 7-9 years of strong background in Oracle databases, physical data models, and SQL and PL/SQL optimization
  • Highly experienced in Data Warehousing concepts
  • Experience with handling very large data volumes in relation to data maintenance and query optimization
  • Proficient with the use of AI in a development environment
  • Familiarity with .NET, Java, XML, and Unix shell scripting is an advantage
  • Experience with standards, methods, and techniques in an agile development environment (source control (git), code reviews, scrum/issue handling (Jira/Gitlab issues), and documentation (Confluence /Wiki))
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes for development, packaging, and deployment
  • Fluent written and spoken English knowledge is required, and proficiency in German is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a focus in computer science
