Day to day: gathering finance requirements, preparing functional designs, coordinating RICE work with technical teams, testing/UAT, troubleshooting, and supporting month-end close. India-based with 2 PM-11 PM IST support hours.

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Financial modules. The candidate should have hands-on experience in implementation, support, configuration, business process analysis, and troubleshooting of Oracle Financial applications.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to understand business requirements and deliver effective Oracle Finance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance and Accounting teams.
- Configure and support Oracle EBS R12 Financial modules.
- Work on implementation, customization, enhancement, and production support activities.
- Prepare functional design documents and configuration documents.
- Coordinate with technical teams for reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE components).
- Perform functional testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Provide user training and prepare functional documentation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration between Finance and other Oracle modules.

Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Information Technology.
- 68+ years of experience in Oracle EBS Finance.
- At least one full-cycle implementation or multiple support projects preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage business-critical issues.
