Technical Consultant – Oracle EBS
Position Summary
The Technical Consultant will design, develop, test and deploy Oracle EBS customizations, interfaces, conversions, reports and extensions required for Fixed Assets and General Ledger localization. The role will support conversion loads, validation automation, defect resolution and production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Oracle EBS technical components for conversions, interfaces, reports and extensions.
Design and build asset conversion and data loading utilities.
Create automation for data validation and reconciliation.
Build inbound/outbound integrations where required by the approved scope.
Develop custom reports, extracts and BI/XML Publisher outputs.
Support data migration, cutover and deployment activities.
Conduct unit testing and support SIT/UAT defect resolution.
Prepare Technical Design Documents, configuration/deployment guides and migration instructions.
Optimize existing custom programs and interfaces.
Work closely with functional consultants to validate accounting, asset and ledger data.
Required Skills
5–10 years of Oracle EBS Technical experience.
Strong expertise in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, BI Publisher, SQL Loader and Oracle APIs.
Experience with concurrent programs, interface tables and Oracle EBS R12.2.x technical architecture.
Good debugging, performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
Experience supporting data migration, technical testing and release deployment.
Ability to prepare clear technical documentation and work with distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Oracle Financials / Fixed Assets projects.
Exposure to Oracle integration technologies.
Experience with data migration frameworks and reconciliation utilities.
