Oracle ERP/R12 Finance Technical Consultant

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle ERP R12 Finance Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Forms development and Oracle Finance modules.

The role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting Oracle ERP applications, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering solutions across implementation and support projects.

Responsibilities :

- Develop, customise, and maintain Oracle ERP R12 Finance applications, primarily across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets (FA).

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms applications.

- Work with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL for development, data handling, and application support.

- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimise system performance.

- Develop and enhance Oracle Application Framework (OAF) components, where applicable.

- Leverage Java development skills for customisations and enhancements where OAF experience is not available.

- Support Oracle ERP implementation, enhancement, and production support projects.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Requirements :

- 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in Oracle ERP technical development and support.

- Mandatory hands-on experience with Oracle ERP R12 Finance modules, particularly AP, AR, and FA.

- Strong experience in Oracle Forms development.

- Proficiency in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.

- Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimisation.

- Exposure to Oracle Application Framework (OAF) development is preferred.

- Strong Java development skills are desirable, particularly for candidates without OAF experience.

- Experience working on Oracle ERP implementation, support, and enhancement projects.
