Oracle FAH Consultant (Financial Accounting Hub)
Job Description:
• Experience Mandatory Skills Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Financial • Accounting Hub (FAH)Solid understanding of Accounting principles Sub-ledger to General Ledger flow • Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) financial module Key Responsibilities: • Functional Responsibilities Design and implement Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) for complex accounting requirements. • Analyze source systems and define accounting events, journal entry rules, mappings, and derivation rules. • Configure FAH components including Accounting Event Classes Accounting Methods Journal Line Definitions Mapping Sets Descriptive Flex fields (DFF)Ensure proper integration between FAH, Oracle GL, and upstream transaction systems. • The Oracle FAH professional is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Financial Accounting Hub to enable sub-ledger accounting, event-based accounting, and seamless integration between upstream systems and the General Ledger. • The role involves close collaboration with finance, business, and technical teams to ensure accurate accounting, compliance, and reporting. • Support sub-ledger accounting (SLA) setup and reconciliation. • Work with finance teams to validate accounting outputs and ensure regulatory compliance (IFRS, GAAP, local statutory).Perform end-to-end testing unit, integration, UAT, and production validation. • Support period close, reconciliations, and audit requirements. Prepare functional design documents (FDD), configuration workbooks, and test scripts. • Technical Integration Responsibilities Collaborate with technical teams on Data extraction and transformation from source systemsFAH inbound interface design (e.g., file-based or middleware-driven) • Support error handling, accounting failures, and interface issues. • Provide inputs for reports, validations, and controls. |
