Oracle Fusion Financial Functional Consultant (Lead)
Summary
Leads end-to-end functional delivery of Oracle Fusion Financials modules (General Ledger, Payables, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Tax) in a co-exist model bridging legacy Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud. Day to day: fit-gap analysis, configuration, CRP sessions, UAT/SIT testing, and coordinating with architects, integration leads, and third-party vendors.
Job Titile:
As the Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Lead, you will take end-to-end delivery ownership of the core financial modules. You will operate in a co-exist model, bridging the gap between legacy EBS environment and the new Fusion landscape. You will work side-by-side with the team and collaborate directly with third-party vendor to drive business process design, configuration and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the functional design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Fusion Financials modules (General Ledger, Payables, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Tax).
• Partner with the architecture team to ensure seamless data flow, reconciliation and process alignment between Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion during the co-exist phase.
• Act as the primary functional touchpoint for integration leads, ensuring business requirements are accurately mapped to Fusion best practices.
• Lead fit-gap analysis, CRP (Conference Room Pilot) sessions, requirements gathering and comprehensive system testing (UAT/SIT).
Required Qualifications:
• 12+ years of experience implementing Oracle ERP systems, with at least 2 full-lifecycle implementations of Oracle Cloud/Fusion Financials.
• Strong functional expertise in GL, AP, CM, FA, and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
• Proven experience working in complex EBS-to-Fusion co-exist architectures.
• Excellent client-facing and vendor management skills, prior experience working alongside Big 4 integrators is highly preferred.
