Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Lead / Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud technical architecture, integrations, data migration, reporting, workflow automation, and solution design.
The ideal candidate should be capable of owning the end-to-end technical solution, working closely with Functional Leads, Business Teams, Developers, Integration Teams, and other stakeholders to design scalable and reliable Oracle HCM solutions.
The role requires strong technical knowledge across Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), HDL/HSDL, REST/SOAP APIs, BI Publisher, OTBI, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, and Oracle Fusion HCM modules. The candidate should also be comfortable designing dashboards, user experiences, automated workflows, and integration architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture, design, development, and implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud solutions.
- Own end-to-end technical solutioning and orchestration in collaboration with Functional Leads and cross-functional teams.
- Design integrations between Oracle Fusion HCM and external enterprise applications.
- Develop inbound and outbound integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP APIs, HDL, and HCM Extracts.
- Design and implement integration patterns, transformations, error handling, scheduling, monitoring, and reconciliation.
- Manage bulk data migration, conversion, and loading using HCM Data Loader (HDL), HSDL, and Spreadsheet Data Loader.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and migration support.
- Design and develop BI Publisher reports, OTBI analyses, dashboards, and HCM Extracts.
- Build reports and extracts for payroll systems, third-party applications, compliance requirements, and business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain Fast Formulas across Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, Compensation, Benefits, and other HCM modules.
- Design Oracle HCM user experiences, dashboards, analytics, workflow automation, notifications, and approval processes.
- Work with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues involving integrations, reports, data loads, workflows, and application configurations.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
- Assess the impact of Oracle quarterly updates, patches, and new releases.
- Support regression testing and technical validation during Oracle release cycles.
- Establish technical standards, reusable components, integration patterns, and development best practices.
- Review technical designs and code produced by development teams.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to Oracle HCM developers.
- Create and maintain architecture documents, technical specifications, integration mappings, runbooks, and support documentation.
- Ensure solutions follow security, performance, scalability, and data-governance standards.
