oracle Fusion PPM Functional consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Functional Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and production support of Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM modules. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, configure solutions, manage project financials, support project costing and billing, and ensure seamless integration with Oracle Fusion Financials.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements, conduct requirement analysis, and prepare functional specifications for Oracle Fusion PPM.
• Configure and support Oracle Project Management, Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, and Project Control functionalities.
• Manage project creation, project templates, project tasks, resources, budgets, forecasts, and project progress tracking.
• Configure project costing rules, cost allocations, burdening, expenditure types, expenditure categories, and transaction controls.
• Support project contract creation, contract billing, revenue recognition, invoice generation, and accounting processes.
• Support project budgetary controls, financial planning, cost monitoring, and project profitability analysis.
• Troubleshoot functional issues related to project costs, expenditure items, billing, revenue, accounting, and period-close activities.
• Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, and user training materials.
• Perform SIT, UAT, regression testing, and post-deployment validation.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, and project financial data validation.
• Develop and validate project reports using OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Manage production incidents, root-cause analysis, client escalations, and service requests.
• Coordinate with technical teams for integrations, reports, data conversion, and application enhancements.

Required Technical and Functional Skills

• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM.
• Experience in one or more of the following modules:
• Project Management
• Project Costing
• Project Billing
• Project Control
• Project Contracts
• Project Budgeting and Forecasting
• Project Resource Management
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, especially GL, AP, AR, and SLA.
• Understanding of project accounting, cost distribution, revenue recognition, and billing processes.
• Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, FBDI, and scheduled processes.
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion integrations and data migration processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Typically 510 years of relevant Oracle ERP/PPM experience, depending on the role.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production support.
• Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams.
