Job Description
Seeking an Oracle Senior Software Engineer to join a team focused on implementing innovative solutions to support the production of episodic television. The team works to implement solutions across multiple studios and delivery platforms with a focus on building solutions to business problems that increase insight and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:Translate complex functional requirements into codeCollaborate with other software engineers to integrate the various components of the systemIdentify, analyze, and resolve technical problemsStored procedure and package developmentJasper report developmentInterface developmentData conversionPerformance tuningCode review
Basic Qualifications:10+ years of software developmentExpert in back-end development using Oracle PL/SQLStrong report development skills using Jasper Reports or similarAbility to troubleshoot problems, determine impact and resolve complex issuesAbility to develop a deep understanding of the television production data modelAbility to communicate clearly and work closely with developers and business analystsComfortable leveraging AI coding assistants to increase productivityComfortable working in Agile/SCRUM environment
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Snowflake and Cortex AIExperience with Oracle EPM (Essbase and Hyperion Planning)Experience with data migration tools such as Fivetran or similarExperience using AWS EC2, RDS and Amazon LinuxExperience with SAP financialsExperience working at a major studio in television production
