Oracle SOA / BPEL / BPM / ADF Custom Application Support Consultant

Job Summary

Our client, a cloud consulting and managed services company, is currently looking for an experienced Oracle SOA / BPEL / BPM / ADF Custom Application Support Consultant to provide production support and troubleshooting for enterprise Oracle applications and integrations.

The role will focus on supporting Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c, including BPEL/BPM/ADF applications, SOA composites, integrations, web services, and related production issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production application support for Oracle SOA-based and custom
• enterprise applications.
• Support and troubleshoot Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c environments.
• Investigate failed or stalled SOA processes and composites.
• Troubleshoot BPEL/BPM workflows, application logs, process instances, and
• integration issues.
• Support ADF-based applications and related production incidents.
• Troubleshoot web services, adapters, endpoints, and system integrations.
• Analyze application and middleware logs to identify root causes of production issues.
• Perform SQL/PLSQL troubleshooting for application and integration-related issues.
• Support legacy/custom Oracle applications and integrations.
• Coordinate with application, middleware, database, and infrastructure teams during
• incident resolution.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical production issues.
• Support production deployments, fixes, and application maintenance activities.
• Use monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) where applicable.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established incident/change-management

processes.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite 11g/12c.
• Hands-on production support experience with BPEL, BPM, and/or ADF.
• Experience troubleshooting SOA composites, failed/stalled processes, web services,
• adapters, and integrations.
• Strong production application support and troubleshooting experience.
• Working knowledge of SQL/PLSQL, including stored procedures, functions, and related
• database troubleshooting.
• Experience performing log analysis, incident investigation, and RCA.
• Experience supporting enterprise or legacy Oracle applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Experience supporting high-volume, business-critical production environments.
• Previous L2/L3 or escalation support experience.

Independent Contractor Setup

• 1-year Independent Contractor engagement
• Monthly contract rate
• No HMO or regular employee benefits

Working Conditions

• Engagement: Independent Contractor – 1 Year
• Work Arrangement: Remote / Work From Home
• Shift: Mid/Night Shift; overlap with U.S. business hours may be required
