📄 Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle SQL, Unix, and Production Support to manage and support enterprise applications in a banking/financial services environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in incident management, batch processing, and system monitoring, along with exposure to AML platforms and regulatory environments.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

📌 Production Support & Incident Management

• Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise applications
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents within SLAs
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure permanent fixes

---

📌 Database & SQL Operations

• Write and optimize Oracle SQL queries and stored procedures
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and issue analysis
• Support data-related incidents and performance tuning

---

📌 Unix & Batch Processing

• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts
• Monitor and manage batch jobs and scheduled processes
• Handle failures in job scheduling systems (TWS, cron, etc.)

---

📌 Application & Middleware Support

• Support applications running on IBM WebSphere (v9.x)
• Troubleshoot issues related to Java-based applications (Java 1.8)
• Work with integrated systems and upstream/downstream data flows

---

📌 Monitoring & Debugging

• Use tools like Dynatrace for monitoring and debugging
• Analyze logs, performance metrics, and system alerts

---

📌 Mainframe & Legacy Systems

• Work with Mainframe technologies including:
  • JCL
  • TWS job scheduling
  • LCM deployments

---

📌 Compliance & Regulatory Support

• Support systems under regulatory frameworks (AML/BSA/OFAC)
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance with banking standards
