This role combines functional knowledge with hands-on technical development across Oracle CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM, and SGG. You will work on application configuration, custom development, batch processing, integrations, production support, and L2/L3 incident triage.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working within complex Oracle Utilities environments and can translate business requirements into technical solutions while supporting day-to-day operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into FDDs, TDDs, and technical solutions.
Design, configure, develop, test, and maintain Oracle Utilities applications and custom extensions.
Develop using Java, Groovy, SQL, PL/SQL, and OUAF configuration tools.
Monitor and maintain daily/nightly batch jobs, including troubleshooting, stream restarts, and optimization.
Configure and support Oracle Utilities modules across Billing, Payments, Rating, Collections, and related M2C processes.
Support MDM, VEE, usage processing, interval data, and smart meter integrations.
Develop and support REST/SOAP APIs, inbound/outbound messages, and enterprise integrations.
Investigate L2/L3 production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement break-fix solutions.
Execute unit testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment/hyper-care support.
Collaborate with functional, development, QA, and client teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
Requirements:
Mid-Level: 5–7 years | Senior-Level: 8–12+ years of direct technical and functional experience in Oracle CC&B, C2M,
CCS, and MDM.
Mandatory experience in Batch Processing: daily batch monitoring, batch job execution, thread management, error
log analysis, and batch optimization.
Strong programming expertise in Java SE, Groovy scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, XPath/XQuery, and OUAF Configuration
Tools.
Hands-on experience writing FDDs/TDDs and executing unit testing, SIT, UAT, and hyper-care stabilization support.
Solid understanding of the Meter-to-Cash (M2C) lifecycle and MDM VEE/usage calculation engines.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow
Nice to Have (Optional):
Experience with utility-scale enterprise implementations
Experience with Oracle cloud releases and environment validation
Experience integrating Oracle Utilities with Maximo, GIS, Payment Gateways, or CIS Portals
Experience with smart meter and interval data processing
Experience with batch performance optimization

What You Can Expect:
Technical & Functional Ownership: Work across both Oracle Utilities configuration and hands-on technical development
Enterprise Utility Systems: Gain exposure to CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM, SGG, and OUAF environments
Production Experience: Work directly with batch monitoring, L2/L3 triage, break-fix activities, and SLA-driven support
Integration Exposure: Develop and support REST/SOAP services and enterprise middleware touchpoints
Collaborative Delivery: Work with developers, designers, QA teams, functional stakeholders, and client teams
Career Growth: Develop deeper expertise across Oracle Utilities, M2C, MDM, batch operations, integrations, and techno-functional solution design
Note:
Batch Processing and Monitoring experience is mandatory, in addition to core Meter-to-Cash (M2C) and Meter Data Management skills.
