Oral Hygienist
Summary
Provide dental hygiene services like scaling, polishing, and patient education in a Singapore-based clinic, ensuring compliance with local licensing and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Appropriately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening to patients.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.
Qualifications:
• Education: Diploma in Dental Hygiene or an equivalent qualification recognized by Singapore’s Dental Council.
• Licensure: Registration with the Singapore Dental Council as a Dental Hygienist is mandatory.
• Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
