Part-Time Oral Surgeon | San Diego Area
Build a consistent part-time schedule across three established Gentle Dental practices.
Gentle Dental is looking for an Oral Surgeon to join our Southern California team, supporting patients across three San Diego-area practices.
We are open to both W-2 employment and 1099 independent contractor arrangements, giving you flexibility to choose the structure that best fits your existing practice and professional goals.
This opportunity is designed for an Oral Surgeon looking to add consistent days to their schedule while working alongside established dental teams in multiple communities.
The Opportunity
The tentative monthly schedule includes:
- 2 days – Gentle Dental Grossmont

La Mesa, CA 91942 - 1 day – Gentle Dental Chula Vista

Chula Vista, CA 91910 - 1 day – Gentle Dental Sorrento Valley

Compensation
Oral Surgeons are compensated based on a percentage of production, ranging from 45%–50% of production, depending on the provider arrangement and applicable terms.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Oral Surgery Residency program
- Graduate of an accredited dental school
- Active California dental license or ability to obtain one by the start of employment
- Required professional licenses and certifications, including CPR, DEA, and NPI
