Rate: $26 - $27.50/hour (depending on experience)
Shift Differential: Additional $1.50/hour for hours worked between 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Shift: Full-Time, Evenings (Office Position)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Location: Autumn View Health Care Facility

The McGuire Group is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry LPN / Pharmacy Technician to join our centralized team in Hamburg, NY. In this office-based role, you'll collaborate with pharmacy teams, medical providers, and facility nurses to accurately enter and audit physician orders within electronic health records. Training is provided!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enter and audit computerized physician orders within electronic health records
• Review medication orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
• Collaborate with pharmacy teams, medical providers, and facility nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records
• Identify and communicate order discrepancies to appropriate clinical staff
• Follow established medication protocols, documentation standards, and facility procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Pharmacy Technician
• Medication knowledge or related background required
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
• Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
