Summary
Handles shipping, receiving, and inventory for a grocery/beverage store in a private club, ensuring product integrity and sanitation standards.
The Order Selector works in the Purchasing Department Food & Beverage Grocery Store to assist with shipping and receiving, maintaining grocery/beverage inventory and sanitation of the department.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Responsible for product integrity, load accuracy, safe transfer, and storage of all products in the department.
- Performs receiving and shipping duties; interacts with truck driver/delivery services.
- Stocks storeroom shelves and fills food and bar requisitions.
- Responsible for all departmental sanitation and organization.
- Ensures product quality and temperature storage standards.
- Able to work independently and as part of the purchasing team.
- Follow inventory control standards of the DAC Purchasing Department.
- Organization and sorting of returnable products.
- Other duties as assigned.
