ORMB Production Support Engineer

Job Summary

TQuanta Technologies is looking for an experienced ORMB Production Support Engineer to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain Oracle Revenue Management and Billing applications in a production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in incident management, root cause analysis, batch monitoring, SQL troubleshooting, and application support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB).
• Monitor daily batch jobs, batch schedules, interfaces, and critical business processes.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents, application errors, billing issues, and data discrepancies.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurring incidents.
• Troubleshoot SQL queries, database issues, application logs, and failed batch processes.
• Work with business users, development teams, infrastructure teams, and other support teams to resolve issues within agreed SLAs.
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Prepare incident reports, RCA documents, operational runbooks, and knowledge-base articles.
• Participate in production releases, deployments, and post-deployment validation.

Required Skills and Experience

• 48 years of IT experience, with hands-on experience in ORMB application support.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Revenue Management and Billing architecture and business processes.
• Experience with production incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience with batch jobs, batch monitoring, application logs, and interface troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) concepts.
• Understanding of billing, invoicing, financial transactions, and revenue management processes.
• Good communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Working Hours: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST
