OSS/BSS Systems Engineer

About the role

At Métrica, we are looking for an OSS/BSS Systems Engineer with experience in telecommunications management systems and API integration to join a project in the space sector.

What you'll do

• Define and integrate OSS/BSS capabilities for the management of processes, services, resources, and network operation.
• Model service and resource catalogs, inventories, and service provisioning and activation processes (fulfillment).
• Define service monitoring and assurance and orchestration capabilities.
• Specify requirements, processes, and API interfaces between systems.
• Maintain the traceability of requirements and their relationship with the defined solutions.
• Support the integration and validation of systems in multi-domain environments.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in telecommunications.
• Experience in OSS/BSS systems within the telecommunications field.
• Experience in system integration through APIs and distributed architectures.
• Possibility of obtaining Personal Security Clearance (HPS).
• Availability to work in a hybrid modality in San Fernando de Henares.
• Availability to travel nationally and internationally.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of TM Forum standards and frameworks: ODA, SID, and Open APIs.
• Familiarity with ECSS standards.
• Knowledge of requirements management with DOORS.
• Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Capella, or UML.
• Knowledge of satellite communications (SATCOM), 5G networks, or non-terrestrial networks (NTN).
• Medium-high level of English, especially for reading and understanding technical documentation.

What you'll get

• Salary: up to €50,000 gross per year, depending on experience.
• Equipment provided by the client for security reasons.

• Office location: San Fernando de Henares, Madrid.
• Modality: hybrid, with 40–60% remote work.
• Availability for domestic and international travel.
