OT Automation Security Consultant

We are looking for an OT Automation Security Consultant to support the security improvement of industrial automation environments and help strengthen the protection of critical OT assets.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement security hardening standards for industrial automation components, including switches, controllers and operator interfaces.

• Support the rollout of security baselines across OT environments.

• Monitor the implementation of hardening requirements and track progress against agreed security objectives.

• Define measurable security controls and compliance indicators for industrial automation assets.

• Support security compliance monitoring and reporting for OT systems.

• Work with technical and business stakeholders to ensure security requirements are practical, clear and aligned with operational needs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in configuring, managing or securing industrial automation components.

• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMI systems and industrial control environments.

• Hands-on knowledge of automation platforms and related management tools, preferably Siemens, Rockwell Automation or similar.

• Understanding of industrial endpoint environments, including Windows Embedded and Windows IoT-based systems.

• Knowledge of remote access technologies used in industrial environments.

• Good understanding of OT security standards and frameworks, including NIST CSF, NIST OT guidance and ISA/IEC 62443.

• Fluent English, including technical and stakeholder-facing communication.
