Headquartered in Sydney with reach across Australia, we are looking for an OT Cyber Security Specialist to join our team and help secure the systems behind some of Australia’s critical infrastructure organisations.
We are looking for an experienced OT Cyber Security Specialist with 3-5+ years of hands-on experience securing industrial and critical infrastructure environments. The role requires strong knowledge of IEC 62443, AESCSF, NIST SP 800-82/CSF 2.0 and the SANS Five ICS Cybersecurity Critical Controls, supported by practical experience in OT architecture, network segmentation, asset visibility, vulnerability management, secure remote access, and industrial security monitoring. Note: Operational Technology (OT) encompasses the terms Industrial Automation, SCADA, and Industrial Control Systems.
We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in most or all of the following:
Knowledge regarding OT cyber security concepts such as the Purdue Model, ISA/IEC 62443, and other industry relevant cyber security frameworks
Producing high-quality reports and presentations
Performing and reporting on gap analyses, risk assessments, feasibilities, and investigations associated with OT
Participating in client workshops, building rapport, and documenting notes
Systems engineering practices in the delivery and support of OT
OT asset management
IT/OT system and cyber security solution architecture
SCADA system configuration and administration
For an OT Cyber Security Specialist, the below is mandatory:
Ability to support delivery of OT security work including OT risk assessments and ISA/IEC 62443, with a focus on OT architecture engagements.
Delivery of reports on time and within the time scoped for the engagement, with oversight support.
Active participation in client engagements including presenting to clients pre and post project.

Ideally have at least 3-5+ years' experience as an OT Cyber Security Specialist
You can be based anywhere in Australia, however, Melbourne based is a plus
You are an Australian PR or citizen
Qualifications
Essential:
ISA/IEC 62443 certification (Fundamentals Specialist or higher)
Demonstrated experience applying AESCSF, NIST SP 800-82 or NIST CSF 2.0 in an operational environment
Degree in engineering, computer science, or cyber security, or equivalent experience
Desirable:
ISA/IEC 62443 Design Specialist or Expert
CISSP or CISM
Experience with OT monitoring platforms (e.g. Claroty, Nozomi, Dragos)
Familiarity with SOCI Act obligations
Ability to obtain or hold an Australian Government security clearance
