OTR CDL-A Fresh & Frozen Reefer Driver | Pet & Rider Friendly

Take your co-pilot along for the ride. This dedicated over the road Class A CDL position in Des Moines, IA hauls fresh and frozen foods in reefer trailers to grocery distributors across the country, with most routes in the Midwest, Southwest and West. Pets and passengers are welcome with authorization, pay is activity-based, and there’s a limited-time $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Pay & Bonuses

• $10,000 sign-on bonus for a limited time
• $0.66–$0.70 per mile
• $40 per stop
• $20/hour detention pay

Schedule & Home Time

• 6 consecutive work days with a 34-hour reset each week.
• Start times between 4:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
• Average 11–13 hour workdays.
• Home reset 1–2 times per month.
• Truck can be taken home during time off with management approval.

Routes & Freight

• Fresh and frozen food deliveries in reefer trailers across 28 states.
• Routes focused on the Midwest, Southwest, and West.
• Mix of single-stop and multi-stop loads.
• Preloaded trailers; receiver unloads.
• Backhauls required.
• Travel and hotel provided during training.

Equipment

• Automatic International sleeper trucks.
• Pets allowed with authorization.
• Passengers allowed with authorization.
• Bring your own fridge.

• No additional endorsements required.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• No SAP drivers.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Willing to chain up when weather requires.
• Comfortable driving mountain passes.
• Willing to deliver to any state needed.
