What you'll do
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized OT plans of care
- Treat to restore independence in daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and self-feeding
- Address strength, fine motor skills, cognition, safety awareness, and positioning
- Recommend and train on adaptive equipment
- Educate residents, families, and nursing staff on treatment goals, safe routines, and home exercises
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress reports accurately and on time
What you'll need
- Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license (OTR)
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy and rehabilitation techniques
- Experience in acute care or skilled nursing preferred
- Excellent communication skills
