Outdoor Educator

Earthbound Kids is looking for an experienced Outdoor Educator/Biologist to assume a leadership role in the planning, development and maintenance of, as well as general programming within its Outdoor Education program. The candidate must enjoy working outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions and have educational or practical experience in the following areas:


Woodlot and tree studies, tree planting
Vegetation and wildlife ecology
Strong tree identification skills 
Flora/fauna Identification Skills

Knowledge of land management and sustainability practices an asset

Diploma or degree in Environmental Education,Ecology, Forestry, Horticulture

Demonstrated basic ability in a wide range of skills, i.e. experience and skill in gardening, landscaping, carpentry, plumbing, mechanics, electrical, vehicle maintenance

This is a seasonal, full-time position starting April extending to November. Shorter positions are also available.

Compensation is based on experience
