This position is available in the Division of Hydropower Licensing in the Office of Energy Projects. As an OUTDOOR RECREATION PLANNER some of your typical work assignments include: Serving as a project coordinator of multidisciplinary teams, analyzing information on recreation and land use resources as they relate to the construction, modification, operation, and maintenance of hydropower projects, making recommendations that are technically sound and thoroughly researched. Preparing environmental documents that analyze a range of outdoor recreation and land use issues and balance competing resource needs. Planning and executing meetings on recreation and land use matters with attorneys, biologists, recreation planners, and engineers from licensees, applicants for license, tribes, and local, state, and federal agencies.
