The Outlet Manager is responsible for the overall operation, guest experience, financial performance and team management of Longtail River Bar and Lounge. The position will ensure that the outlet consistently delivers exceptional service in line with Anantara luxury hospitality standards while maintaining operational efficiency, profitability, food safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall daily operation of Longtail River Bar and Lounge to ensure smooth, efficient and profitable service.

  • Ensure the outlet consistently operates in accordance with Anantara brand standards, SOPs and service standards.

  • Maintain a strong floor presence and lead the team by example during service.

  • Ensure the outlet is fully prepared for daily operations, including table setup, buffet presentation, cleanliness, equipment and service stations.

  • Monitor service flow, guest traffic and manpower deployment to maintain efficient operations.

  • Conduct regular inspections of the outlet, facilities and equipment and ensure operational issues are promptly addressed.

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized and attentive service consistent with Anantara's luxury hospitality standards.

  • Proactively engage with guests and identify opportunities to exceed guest expectations.

  • Handle guest feedback, complaints and special requests professionally and effectively.

  • Monitor guest satisfaction and implement appropriate service recovery when required.

  • Build strong relationships with regular guests, VIPs and hotel guests.

  • Ensure guest preferences and special requirements are communicated effectively to the team.

  • Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere throughout the outlet.

  • Lead, coach and motivate the team to achieve high standards of service and operational performance.

  • Conduct daily briefings and ensure clear and effective communication within the team.

  • Identify training needs and provide coaching and on-the-job training.

  • Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback to team members.

  • Support succession planning and the development of high-potential team members.

  • Maintain team discipline, grooming, personal presentation and professional standards.

  • Foster a positive, collaborative and service-oriented team culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management or a related field.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably within a luxury 4–5 star hotel.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position.

  • Previous experience managing a bar & lounge or high-volume F&B outlet is highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, F&B procedures and luxury guest service standards.

  • Good understanding of F&B revenue management, cost control, labor management and budgeting.

  • Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.

  • Strong leadership, coaching and team-development skills.

  • Excellent guest service, communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Good command of spoken and written English.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant POS/F&B systems.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning shifts, weekends and public holidays.

  • Energetic, hands-on, service-minded and able to work effectively under pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality and guest experience.
