Outpatient Billing Rep.
Summary
Processes outpatient billing data using medical software like MediTech, ESW, and 3M, ensuring accuracy and compliance with insurance requirements.
* Must type minimum of 40 word a for minute. Must have previous experience of computer data entry.
* Must have previous PASR experience using MediTech, ESW and 3M.
* Ability to work an account in BAR and ABS, insert missing information needed to finalize the account.
* Process and prorate an account after finalizing was completed to ensure no additional error exist.
* Report any discrepancies in the ECW and 3M workflow in order to feedback to IT and Ambulatory Care administrator.
* Ability to prioritize as additional tasks develops or is assigned.
* Able to work well with a team and independently.
* Knowledge of Insurance verification and correct Insurance order.
* Mature, accountable and punctual: reports to work promptly as schedule.
Formal Education and Job-Related : This position requires a minimum formal education of High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year job-related experience.
Experience Desired (not required) criteria include: Knowledge of medical Terminology. Good office skils. Professional appearance and pleasant personality. Congenial manner - ability to deal with/assist persons under stress. Good telephone personality/manner.
Shift : Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
