Outpatient Referral Liaison
Summary
Processes patient referrals, creates and maintains medical charts, and verifies insurance benefits to support timely scheduling and communication in a pediatric healthcare setting.
Job Purpose
|
To efficiently process incoming referrals and other documents, create patient charts and cases, and maintain patients’ charts to allow for more timely patient scheduling and communication. While the Outpatient Referral Liaison will be assigned to a primary job position, they will be cross trained in other positions to help balance workload and to provide fill-in for co-workers as needed. |
Qualifications

Education: |
High School Diploma or GED. Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English required. |

Experience: |
Previous or directly related experience is preferred. |
