We are seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to grow business throughout the Knoxville, TN territory and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity to build an established territory while representing a leader in industrial repair services. You will work with manufacturing and industrial customers to support repairs involving hydraulics, industrial electronics, robotics, servos, and mechanical components.
Home-based within the Knoxville market.
Essential Functions
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan focused on new business and account growth.
- Build and maintain customer relationships throughout the assigned territory.
- Manage prospecting activities including lead generation, cold calling, sales presentations, and closing business.
- Conduct regular in-person visits with customers and prospects.
- Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to achieve sales goals.
- Utilize CRM and sales tools to manage territory activity and opportunities.
Experience, Education and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or a two-year technical degree in an industrial discipline, preferred.
- 2+ years of industrial sales experience preferred, including repair services, MRO, hydraulics, industrial electronics, robotics, servos, or mechanical components.
- Experience with hydraulic repair and rebuilding is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency, including CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Ability to travel throughout the territory and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
