Outside Sales Representative – Sweden

What You'll Do

You will be responsible for developing sales across Sweden and Denmark by building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and helping customers find the right technical solutions for their applications.

You will work with laboratories, R&D organizations, universities, pharmaceutical companies, chemical manufacturers, and other technically advanced customers. Your role will combine prospecting, account development, consultative selling, and technical customer dialogue.

  • Develop and grow sales across Sweden and Denmark within ASC, FTIR, and RAMAN technologies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Develop key accounts and identify opportunities for cross-selling and further growth.
  • Meet customers regularly to understand their applications, challenges, and requirements.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial discussions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through quotation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Work closely with application specialists, service engineers, and product experts.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer information in CRM.
  • Represent Anton Paar at conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and customer events.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the market, competition, and customer needs within your territory.

The Technologies

Analytical & Synthetic Chemistry (ASC)
Solutions supporting chemical analysis, synthesis, sample preparation, and laboratory workflows across industrial and academic research environments.

FTIR Spectroscopy
Fourier-Transform Infrared spectroscopy used for identification, characterization, quality control, and analysis of chemical substances and materials.

Raman Spectroscopy
Raman spectroscopy used for molecular identification and characterization across research, pharmaceutical, chemical, materials, and industrial applications. It also has important applications within forensic science, where rapid and non-destructive identification of unknown substances and materials can support forensic analysis and investigations.

Who You Are

You are curious, commercially driven, and enjoy building relationships with technically knowledgeable customers. You do not need to come from a traditional sales background. We are also interested in candidates who have worked in laboratories, applications, research, product support, or other scientific roles and who are motivated to move into a customer-facing commercial position.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A commercial mindset and motivation to develop business.
  • The ability to understand customer needs and translate them into relevant solutions.
  • A proactive and structured way of working.
  • Confidence working independently across a large territory.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly in Sweden and Denmark.
