Outsourcing Consultant – Payroll Specialist | Dublin City (Hybrid)

A well-established professional services firm is expanding its Outsourcing function and is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join its Dublin City team on a hybrid basis.

This role sits within a growing client services division supporting a broad mix of domestic, international and public sector organisations. It offers strong exposure to varied client environments, alongside opportunities to collaborate across wider advisory teams.

The Position

You will take ownership of end-to-end payroll delivery for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance and a consistently high standard of service. The role combines technical payroll execution with client relationship management and internal collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing weekly and monthly payrolls across multiple client entities

• Reviewing payroll calculations to ensure compliance with Irish legislation

• Managing Revenue submissions and statutory reporting requirements

• Acting as a first point of contact for client payroll queries and escalations

• Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring strict confidentiality

• Supporting onboarding of new payroll clients and transitioning processes where required

• Liaising with internal tax and advisory teams on technical payroll-related matters

• Assisting with workflow planning to ensure deadlines are consistently achieved

Candidate Profile

• At least 1+ year’s experience processing Irish payroll in a bureau or in-house setting

• IPASS qualification (or currently working towards same)

• Strong understanding of PAYE, PRSI, USC and Revenue reporting obligations

• Experience using payroll software such as Sage, BrightPay, Thesaurus or similar

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Professional communicator with strong client-facing skills

• Self-motivated, reliable and collaborative in approach
