Position: Full-Time Overnight Dog Care Attendant
Working Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Salary: S$2,000 – S$2,400/month
About the Role
Noble Canine Oasis is looking for responsible, observant and compassionate individuals to join our overnight care team.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort and wellbeing of dogs staying at our facility overnight.
There will always be two attendants rostered on-site, with staggered rest periods to ensure continuous supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise boarding dogs and ensure their safety throughout the night.
Conduct regular welfare checks, monitoring behaviour, stress levels and physical wellbeing.
Recognise signs of illness, discomfort, distress or behavioural concerns.
Attend to toileting, hydration and other basic care needs.
Ensure dogs are safely housed and settled according to their individual needs.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of boarding areas.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and escalate concerns to management or veterinary professionals.
Maintain accurate overnight records and provide clear handovers to the morning team.
Follow established animal handling, welfare and safety protocols.
Requirements
Essential:
Genuine passion for dogs and animal welfare.
Responsible, reliable and comfortable working overnight.
Patient, observant and attentive to detail.
Able to work independently and make sound decisions.
Physically fit and comfortable handling dogs of different breeds and sizes.
Able to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies.
Good communication skills and willingness to follow established procedures.
Available to work weekends and public holidays according to the roster.
Preferred:
Previous experience in dog daycare, boarding, veterinary clinics or animal care.
Basic understanding of canine body language and behaviour.
Ability to recognise stress signals, illness and abnormal behaviour.
Knowledge of basic animal first aid.
Experience handling dogs with different temperaments and behavioural needs.
Training will be provided. Candidates with relevant experience will be prioritised.
Working Arrangements
Overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Shifts subject to roster requirements.
Two attendants rostered on-site each night.
Staggered breaks and rest periods, subject to operational needs.
Scheduled rest days and applicable overtime compensation in accordance with Singapore employment regulations.
