The Owner Interface Manager represents Watercare’s owner-side interests within the Waikato Water Alliance and is responsible for ensuring a trusted, constructive and effective interface between the Alliance and Watercare.
This is a senior leadership role, operating at a level comparable to a Programme Director, with responsibility for protecting Watercare’s strategic, commercial, operational, reputational and asset-owner interests while enabling successful programme delivery. The role provides owner-side direction, supports timely decision-making, removes organisational roadblocks, and ensures programme outcomes remain aligned with Watercare’s long-term objectives, operating requirements, technical standards and customer outcomes.
The Waikato Water Programme is a strategically important programme for Watercare, supporting long-term water supply resilience and growth for Auckland. It includes major programme components such as a new raw water pump station, a new Waikato water treatment plant, a reservoir, and a pipeline through to Auckland.
