Equipment
We're looking for owner operators with a Conestoga trailer and a safe, well-maintained tractor that meets Southern Transport's equipment standards.
Drivers should be comfortable securing a variety of industrial and specialized freight while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable CDL driving experience
- Conestoga trailer required
- Experience hauling industrial, construction, manufacturing, or energy-related freight preferred
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Ability to verify 10 years of employment and background history
- Pass DOT physical and drug screen
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last year
- No more than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years
- Alcohol-related driving offenses reviewed individually
