P&ID 2D CAD Drafter – Mechanical / Piping

Sisco Jobs is actively recruiting on behalf of a premier client for a skilled and detail-oriented P&ID 2D CAD Drafter in Trichy. The chosen candidate will prepare and modify Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), mechanical piping drawings, and engineering documentation using AutoCAD. The ideal professional should have a strong understanding of piping components, valves, instruments, equipment symbols, and engineering drawing standards to effectively revise technical drawings based on project and engineering requirements.

Requirements:

• ITI, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in P&ID and mechanical CAD drafting (industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, or process plants).
  

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (Familiarity with AutoCAD Plant 3D P&ID or similar is a strong advantage).
  

• In-depth knowledge of piping symbols, valves, fittings, equipment, and instrumentation symbols (ISA 5.1).
  

• Expert capabilities in CAD layering, Xrefs, blocks, plotting, and drawing management.
