P&O Director, EU/APAC Labs
Job Description:
The P&O Director, EU/APAC Labs is a strategic business partner to the Europe/APAC Operations VP, responsible for shaping and driving the People & Organization agenda across the EU and APAC laboratory network as well as Medical Operations & pathology teams. This role enables business growth and organizational effectiveness while ensuring strong associate experience. The role leads Org Design initiatives and support Operations Leaders in driving transformations. The role supports the definition of the deployment plan and oversees the deployment of Mars signature P&O processes.
The Director P& is part of the NA and Global Ops P&O Leadership Team.
The Director P&O Operations is part of the Europe/Apac Operations Leadership Team.
Scope: ~500 Operations Associates and ~15 labs across 8 countries and 2 continents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Partner with Operations senior leaders - VP EU/APAC Lab Operations, VP Global Medical Operations & Paths, Director, Pathology EU/APAC, Director, Medical Operations EU/APAC - to define and execute the people strategy aligned with business priorities
Hire, train, develop, manage performance, provide leadership, and ensure success of the P&O team.
Lead organizational design, deployment and change management
Leverage data to propose adequate strategies and action plans (Staffing rates, stay interview insights, Exit Interview Surveys, Turnover, etc.)
Support the design by partnering with P&O CoEs and lead the deployment of signature processes (PDP, MAS, Culture…)
Lead the Talent/Succession Planning agenda
Support key Associates Relations issues and complex investigations according to each country’s labor law
Drive a strong collaboration and partnership with AR and Legal teams, to build capabilities across P&O and Operations Leaders
Partner and collaborate with the European Commercial Leadership Team and P&O Team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
8+ years of HR / P&O experience in complex, international and matrixed organizations
Business partnering experience with senior leaders
Employees Relations experience in at least one European country (France or Germany preferred)
Multi-site and multi-country experience (EU preferred)
Experience deploying core HR processes (talent, performance, succession, engagement)
Experience leading teams (people management) and supporting organizational transformation
Degree in HR, Business or related field; Master’s preferred
