Summary
Part-time Slot Attendant at a tribal casino in Lynden, WA providing guest service, processing jackpot payouts including W-2G tax form compliance, performing basic player terminal maintenance on slot machines and Sports Wagering kiosks, and monitoring the gaming floor for machine issues and player complaints.
- Purpose of Position
Provides exceptional guest service. Performs basic player terminal & machine service, and limited machine maintenance including Sports Wagering kiosks.
Supervisory Structure
- Reports to: Slot Shift Supervisor
- Supervises: N/A
- Duties and Responsibilites
- Initiates, verifies, and oversees jackpot payouts for designated amounts. Assists guests in completion of W-2G tax forms when pays exceed amounts designated by the IRS.
- Repairs ticket acceptor and ticket printer jams. Replaces low printer paper, as needed. Notifies slot technician in the case of non-functional gaming devices.
- Completes entries on Machine Entry Activity Log (MEAL). Participates in the payment of jackpots
- Circulates through assigned area and monitors guests and machines to detect problems. Investigates player complaints, machine malfunctions, or irregularities. Refers such matters to the supervisor on duty.
- Provides outstanding customer service by demonstrating respect, patience, and attentiveness in all interactions.
- Complies with established policies and procedures in addition to tribal, state, federal, and NIGC laws and regulations.
- Helps maintain cleanliness of gaming floor in assigned area.
- Keeps slot area clean and free of debris
- Performs all other assigned duties.
