PA/QA Manager

SAB Aerospace is seeking a Product Assurance Engineer to lead quality assurance for aerospace space projects. The role focuses on implementing QA plans, supporting design reviews, and ensuring ECSS/ISO requirements are met across engineering teams and suppliers.

The candidate will drive preventive actions, manage non-conformance processes, and participate in audits to optimize quality systems. National and international travel is required.

Implement a product assurance plan on a per-project basis. Participate in design reviews and inspection points. Ensure quality requirements in the Project SOW are addressed. Proactively apply preventive actions for known quality issues. Negotiate quality standards/requirements with customers and suppliers. Act as the single point of contact for quality matters with inputs from other disciplines. Review and update company standards; ensure documents are signed before configuration control board approvals. Maintain project records for traceability of issues and resolutions. Conduct audits to verify QA requirements are met and identify process improvements. Assist disciplines in creating metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements. Participate in Non-Conformance Review Boards and address curative and corrective actions. Experience in a QA role within aerospace is essential. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and EN 9100 standards required. ECSS, ISO and ASTM knowledge desirable for aerospace projects. Knowledge of Space product assurance (ECSS standards) is a plus. Experience supporting multiple engineering teams and external suppliers is needed. Proven ability to resolve problems in an engineering environment. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
