Package Interface Engineer
Qualifications & Experience
Refining and petrochemicals projects and technologies.
5-10+ years' experience in project management.
Ability to adapt to changes and to work in an international multi-cultural project environment, to cope in a positive and productive manner within an intensive environment. Interpersonal skills, rigor, and analytical mind.
Ability to work as a member of a project team, to liaise, coordinate, and positively communicate with the involved different parties (contractors, project entities, auditors, other disciplines representatives, experts, etc.). Ability to liaise effectively at all organizational levels.
Oral communication abilities and writing skills in the English language.
Activities
- Carry out daily site safety visits, documented.
- Coordinate and supervise EPC contractor IP planning and progress.
- Support the EPC contractor activities relevant to interfaces between packages, with PMT project entities, in the execution of their responsibilities under the contract requirements.
- Ensure liaison with package engineering manager, construction manager, and commissioning manager.
- Liaise and report to the package interface manager.
- Obtain and control EPCC weekly status report.
- Attend all weekly and monthly (and unplanned) EPCC package interface meetings.
- Attend all package-to-package interface meetings.
- Attend all construction interface meetings.
- Provide weekly PCC contractor performance report to package interface manager.
- Follow up and expedite actions in interface meeting minutes, logs, punches, and close-outs.
- Address field interfaces non-compliances.
- Ensure that the required level of security related to confidentiality and intellectual property is fulfilled throughout the project and engineering activities execution.
- Participate in project and shareholders internal and external general reviews and audits.
