Looking for a promising career in light manufacturing and are mechanically inclined? DIY Media Group is seeking a high-energy candidate with strong attention to detail to join our Packaging team. In this role, you will deliver finished discs and other products to musicians, videographers, and corporate customers. You’ll learn the proper operation of light industrial robotic machines and/or shrink wrappers that assemble jewel boxes, DVD cases, etc.
Located just outside Philadelphia, in Pennsauken, NJ, DIY Media Group is the parent company of the industry-leading brands Disc Makers and BookBaby. Available Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday, 11 AM–7 PM, on-site at our HQ in Pennsauken, NJ. This is a 5-day, 40-hour work week, with occasional overtime as business requires.
Responsibilities
- Work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented production environment
- Learn to operate packaging machines, such as Gima disc packaging and Shanklin wrappers
- Contribute to a positive, high-energy, diverse team environment to provide a high-quality product
- Receive cross-training and be an active participant in continuous improvement initiatives
