Packaging Worker
Job Summary
We are seeking a Food Packer / Kitchen Packer to accurately pack, label, and arrange food items for delivery, service, or outlet transfer while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Pack food items, ingredients, sauces, condiments, or finished products according to detailed instructions to ensure order accuracy
- Verify item quantity, packing condition, and label accuracy to maintain quality control
- Label packed items with item name, quantity, date, and other required details for traceability
- Arrange packed items systematically for storage, delivery, or transfer to support efficient operations
- Assist with portioning and weighing food items to meet recipe or order specifications
- Maintain cleanliness of packing area, equipment, tools, and storage spaces to comply with hygiene standards
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Support stock rotation and proper storage of packed items to minimize waste and maintain freshness
- Report damaged packaging, incorrect or missing items, and quality issues promptly to supervisors
- Assist with basic kitchen preparation and general kitchen duties as needed to support kitchen operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience in food packing, kitchen support, central kitchen, catering, or F&B environments is advantageous
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced food production or kitchen environment
