We are hiring Machine Packers for our Williamsburg, PA location for 12 hour rotating shifts (days/nights).

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Machine Packer loads paper onto automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machines and packs finished products in a fast-paced envelope manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for conducting quality inspections, labeling cartons, reporting variances, and reviewing production schedules to support daily production goals. Candidates must possess the ability to read a ruler, perform basic mathematical calculations, follow written and verbal instructions, and work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Load paper into automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machines.
• Pack finished products according to quality and production standards.
• Inspect product quality and report variances to appropriate personnel.
• Label cartons and complete required production documentation.
• Review production orders and schedules to meet daily production requirements.
• Perform rework as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay & Work Schedule

• Hourly Rate: $18.18/hr + shift premium $0.35/hr (when working nights).
• 2 days and 2 nights required : Day shift 7am – 7pm / Night shift 7pm – 7am.
• Mandatory Overtime is required for 1-2 days during this busy season.
• Overtime may be required during busy season/based on business needs.
• Please Note: Opportunity for advancement to a Machine Adjuster role after 90 days based on demonstrated mechanical ability, with potential earnings up to $23.83/hour upon meeting role progression requirements.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• A minimum of 6 months Machine Packer experience preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and quality specifications.
• Ability to read a ruler and perform basic math calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and adherence to safety standards.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift while maintaining pace with high-speed production demands.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, twist
• Manual dexterity required perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive while working around moving machinery and equipment.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, inks, solvents, adhesives, and varying temperatures.
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures.
