Overview: The Shipping and Receiving Packer is the second level in the Shipping and Receiving Career Track. As a Level I you will perform basic packaging and shipping functions with minimum supervision.

Key Responsibilities: (include but not limited to): Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, include and are not limited to the following:

• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Prepare items to be shipped.
• Perform part wrapping and protection to prevent damage during shipping.
• Handle materials according to customer and QMS requirements.
• Pack, seal, or label to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools and/or power tools.
• Deliver or route materials to departments using hand trucks or sorting bins.
• Inspect shipments to ensure correct order fulfillment.
• Re-stock shelves in the shipping department as needed.
• Document completion of work/operations in M2M.
• Maintain inventory of parts.
• Record inventory transactions in M2M.
• Complete required training.
• Perform other jobs or functions assigned by manager/supervisor.
