Packing Assistant

Job Scope

• Pack food items accurately according to customer orders.
• Label and seal food packages properly.
• Check food quality, freshness, and expiry dates before packing.
• Prepare takeaway orders for dine-in, takeaway, or delivery platforms.
• Maintain cleanliness of the packing area and workstations.
• Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all times.
• Replenish packaging materials (bags, containers, utensils, napkins, etc.).
• Assist with basic food preparation when required (e.g., portioning, assembling simple items).
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and supervisor to ensure orders are complete and accurate.
• Handle customer requests regarding packaging or special instructions.
• Organize packed orders for delivery riders.
• Report damaged packaging, missing items, or stock shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with stock arrangement and inventory of packing supplies.
• Perform general housekeeping duties and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Basic communication skills.

Team player with a positive attitude.

Knowledge of food hygiene practices
