About Us
We are a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Largo, FL looking for a PRN PACU RN to join our team.
Duties
- Perform an appropriate post-operative assessment of the patient as indicated by their procedure and physician orders.
- Provide safe, individualized nursing care during the recovery period for each patient.
- Administer medications and perform documentation in accordance with physician orders and clinical policies.
- Provide appropriate discharge education and guidelines to patients and their families.
Requirements
- RN license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Previous PACU experience required.
- Availability of shifts will vary; afternoon and Friday availability is highly desired.

- Ability to collaborate and work as a team with staff, physicians, and other allied health professionals.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Effective communication skills with patients and family members.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment.
