Description

Paid Marketing Lead
Department: Marketing
Team: Paid Acquisition (Team size of 1)
Location: Chennai
Reports To: AVP Marketing
Company: Navia Markets Ltd (navia.co.in) — SEBI-registered stock brokerage (INZ000095034)

About Navia
Navia Markets Ltd is a SEBI-registered stock brokerage with over 30 years of legacy, headquartered in Chennai. As we scale client acquisition, we're building out a focused paid acquisition function — and we're looking for a hands-on leader to own strategy, execution, and performance across every paid channel.

Role Overview
The Paid Marketing Lead will own Navia's entire paid acquisition function — strategy, budgeting, creative direction, campaign execution, and performance analysis across Google, Meta, YouTube, and Email. This is a dual-mandate role spanning two closely linked areas:
    • Creatives & Campaigns (Track A): Planning, briefing, and launching high-performing ad campaigns and creatives across Google Search/Display/PMax, Meta, YouTube, and Email.
    • Data Analysis & Optimization (Track B): Owning performance tracking, budget allocation, attribution, and continuous testing to improve CAC, conversion, and ROAS.
You'll lead a execution team of 1 member (including a Growth Marketing Executive) and be the primary owner of paid spend efficiency and reporting to senior marketing leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership
    • Own the paid acquisition roadmap and budget across Google, Meta, YouTube, and Email
    • Set channel-level and campaign-level targets (CAC, CPL, ROAS, conversion rate) and track against them
    • Manage and mentor the paid acquisition team, including the Growth Marketing Executive
    • Report spend efficiency, performance trends, and roadmap updates to the AVP Marketing and senior stakeholders
Track A — Creatives & Campaigns
    • Plan, brief, and launch campaigns across Google (Search, Display, PMax, YouTube) and Meta (Facebook, Instagram)
    • Direct creative development — ad copy, static/video creatives, and landing pages — in collaboration with design and content teams
    • Own Email campaign strategy for acquisition and re-engagement, including segmentation and creative testing
    • Manage always-on and seasonal/defensive campaigns (e.g., brand keyword bidding, competitive conquesting)
    • Ensure creative and messaging compliance with SEBI/regulatory advertising guidelines for financial services
Track B — Data Analysis & Optimization
    • Own end-to-end performance tracking and attribution across all paid channels
    • Analyze CRM and conversion funnel data to optimize budget allocation across channels, days, and audiences
    • Run structured A/B tests on creatives, audiences, and bidding strategies
    • Build and maintain performance dashboards and present data-backed recommendations to leadership
    • Partner with the organic growth team to ensure consistent measurement (GSC/GA4) and avoid channel overlap
Requirements
    • 2–4 years of experience in paid media/performance marketing, with hands-on ownership of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
    • Experience in Automating Paid Marketing (Track A) and Analysis (Track B) using AI
    • Proven experience managing meaningful monthly ad budgets with clear CAC/ROAS accountability
    • Strong creative sensibility — comfortable briefing and evaluating ad creatives, not just running campaigns
    • Advanced proficiency with GA4, conversion tracking, and attribution/reporting tools
    • Experience with Email marketing platforms for acquisition or lifecycle campaigns
    • Experience managing or mentoring a small team
    • Strong analytical skills — comfortable working directly with campaign and CRM data to drive decisions
    • Prior experience in fintech, BFSI, or stock broking is a strong plus
    • Familiarity with regulatory/compliance considerations for financial services advertising is a plus
What Success Looks Like
    • Increase in Number of account openings and Activations
    • Consistent improvement in CAC and ROAS across all paid channels quarter-over-quarter
    • Efficient, data-backed budget allocation across Google, Meta, YouTube, and Email
    • A steady pipeline of high-performing, well-tested creatives
    • Clear, reliable performance reporting to leadership
    • A well-run team with clear ownership and consistently met targets
