Paid Social Media Manager

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a high-impact social media program across paid, organic, and influencer channels.
You will shape social strategy, strengthen brand presence, and drive measurable growth across major platforms.
The position combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, from campaign launches and content creation to community engagement.
You will use performance data to optimize campaigns, test creative approaches, and improve customer acquisition outcomes.
You will also build and manage influencer partnerships while exploring emerging platforms, formats, and technologies.
Working cross-functionally, you will collaborate with creative, content, legal, analytics, and other teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.

Accountabilities
- Develop and own the overall social media strategy and execution across major social platforms, aligning the roadmap with broader business and marketing objectives.
- Plan, launch, manage, and optimize paid social advertising campaigns to improve reach, engagement, customer acquisition, and return on advertising spend.
- Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize targeting, budgets, creative assets, and other key campaign variables.
- Design and analyze creative A/B tests and incrementality experiments to identify effective approaches and improve marketing performance.
- Develop and execute influencer marketing programs, including identifying, recruiting, negotiating with, and managing influencer relationships.
- Own the organic social content calendar and create engaging written, visual, and video content across relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on campaigns, product launches, and content initiatives to ensure consistent messaging and execution.
- Manage community engagement and brand conversations, helping strengthen customer relationships and advocacy.
- Track and report on key social media and marketing KPIs, including engagement, reach, traffic, leads, customer acquisition, and ROAS.
- Develop performance reports and translate campaign data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Identify opportunities to expand brand awareness, engagement, acquisition, and advocacy through new channels, formats, technologies, and social trends.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on social media trends, platform developments, best practices, and emerging opportunities.
- Partner with external creative agencies as well as content, legal, analytics, and other cross-functional teams to deliver effective and compliant campaigns.
- Ensure social content and advertising align with broader marketing initiatives and applicable regulatory or compliance requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in social media marketing, with demonstrated ownership of social programs and measurable business outcomes.
- Hands-on experience managing paid social advertising campaigns and optimizing performance across relevant social platforms.
- Experience developing and managing influencer marketing programs, including relationship building, negotiations, campaign execution, and performance evaluation.
- Strong understanding of social media strategy, content development, paid acquisition, audience engagement, and performance marketing.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to develop compelling messaging and content for different audiences and platforms.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience interpreting social and marketing performance data to drive decisions.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience working collaboratively with creative, content, legal, analytics, and external agency partners.
- Knowledge of insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry is preferred.
- Experience scaling an influencer marketing program from the ground up is a plus.
- Experience working through legal or compliance review processes for creative and marketing copy is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills, creativity, initiative, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Annual base salary of $85,000–$100,000 USD, with final compensation determined based on skills, experience, education, training, and geographic location.
