Paid Social & Performance Marketing Specialist
This role is about performance, not just content. We need someone who lives in Ads Manager, thinks in CPL/CPA and conversion rates, and can explain why a campaign is or isn't working — not just that it's "posted and running."
- Build, launch, and manage paid campaigns on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), with room to expand into Google Ads or LinkedIn Ads over time
- Build and test audience segments, bidding strategies, and campaign structures based on performance data
- Run structured A/B tests on creative, copy, and targeting — and know how to read the results
- Own conversion tracking and attribution (pixel setup, conversion events, UTM structure) so we know what's actually driving results
- Analyze spend, CPL, CPA, and ROAS on an ongoing basis and turn that into clear optimization decisions
- Request and brief creative direction based on what the data says is working — you don't need to produce the assets yourself, but you need to know what to ask for and why
- Report on campaign performance in a way leadership can act on, not just a screenshot of metrics
- 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically managing and optimizing paid media budgets — this is the core requirement, not a nice-to-have
- Demonstrated ability to improve performance over time on a live account (please share specific before/after numbers: CPL, CPA, ROAS, conversion rate)
- Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager: campaign structure, bid strategies, audience/lookalike building, pixel and conversions API setup
- Comfortable reading and explaining performance data — not just executing what someone else tells you to run
- Strong written and spoken English required; comfortable working with U.S.-based audiences
- Nice to have: Google Ads or LinkedIn Ads experience
- Nice to have: experience in financial services, insurance, or another regulated/high-consideration purchase industry
- Nice to have: comfort with AI tools (we use Claude extensively across the team)
- Direct ownership of a real, growing paid media budget — not busywork
- Work directly with leadership, not buried under layers of account management
- Long-term potential to grow scope as campaigns scale
