Responsible for wheel painting operations including surface preparation, primer application, colour coating, and finishing as per quality standards and production targets. Ensure proper paint quality, safety compliance, and maintenance of painting equipment.

Key Responsibility
  • Perform wheel painting activities using spray painting equipment
  • Prepare wheel surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and masking
  • Apply primer, base coat, and final paint coating as per standards
  • Ensure proper paint thickness, finish quality, and colour matching
  • Operate and maintain paint booth, spray guns, and related equipment
  • Inspect painted wheels for defects such as scratches, bubbles, or uneven coating
  • Follow safety procedures while handling paints and chemicals
  • Maintain housekeeping in the paint shop area

Requirements

  • Knowledge of spray painting and powder coating processes
  • Understanding of paint mixing and surface finishing techniques
  • Ability to identify paint defects and corrective actions
  • Basic knowledge of safety practices and PPE usage
  • Teamwork and attention to detail

Qualification

  • ITI / Intermediate /Diploma preferred.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in wheel painting or industrial painting in sheet metal/manufacturing industry
